Born and raised in Ohio, I moved to Florida to attend Rollins College in 1984. After college, I taught high school in Lake County, Florida before attending law school. I graduated from Stetson College of Law in 1997. I have practiced in the areas of Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability since that time. I opened the Bradenton office of Carlson, Meissner, Hart & Hayslett in 2000 and am the managing partner of that office. I am very active in the Manatee Chapter of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers. My favorite part of that group is organizing fundraisers for local charities. Bradenton is a wonderful community and everyone should look for ways to be involved in their community.
