Sophia always knew that she wanted to help people with their financial stresses even before she was an attorney. While in law school, Sophia worked as an intern for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida where she assisted low income clients with foreclosure and loan modification. She saw how hard the system was to navigate and how easily homeowners could be taken advantage of, losing everything they had worked so hard for. She knew then that people needed an advocate in their corner and someone who can help them with some of the most stressful decisions.
Sophia attended the University of Toledo where she majored in Criminal Justice; she then relocated to Orlando to attend the Florida A & M University College of Law. After being admitted to the Florida Bar, she worked for many years at one of the biggest foreclosure defense and bankruptcy law firms in Orlando, and worked her way up to a Managing Attorney. Sophia was able to assist hundreds of clients make the right financial decision for them, whether it was fighting to save their home or protecting themselves from liabilities.
