Daphne handles all aspects of family law, which include divorce, child support, custody, Department of Revenue actions, mediations, domestic violence, and paternity. She is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar where she serves on the Domestic Violence and Children’s Issues committees. During law school, Daphne had the privilege of serving as a judicial clerk to Magistrate Robin K. Brown of the Family Court Services Division for the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Duval County. During that time she also volunteered her services as a law clerk in the area of family law for Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida and Jacksonville Area Legal Aid. Daphne earned her Juris Doctor, with honors, from Florida Coastal School of Law where she also obtained a specialized Certification in Advanced Legal Research, Writing and Drafting. In addition to clerking for Magistrate Brown, Daphne also had the privilege of serving a second judicial clerkship with the Honorable Ellen Sue Venzer of the Criminal Division for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Miami-Dade County. Working with Judge Venzer and Magistrate Brown offered Daphne the opportunity to gain valuable insight into how judges in both the domestic relations and criminal divisions view issues and evidence in family law and criminal matters. This experience continues to influence Daphne’s legal strategies and the advice that she provides to her clients. Daphne is dedicated to providing legal services to the underprivileged and serves as a volunteer attorney for Bay Area Legal Services and Legal Aid Services of Broward County. Daphne is a native of Ocala, Florida.
