Her practice primarily focuses on providing representation and counseling in labor and employment issues; estate matters; real estate; civil litigation and consumer debt litigation. Mrs. Smith also ensures adequate title protection to your commercial and residential real estate matters. Mrs. Smith's practice encompasses all areas relating to the strategizing, training and representation of individuals and organizations who require personal attention to their various legal matters. Mrs. Smith is committed to assist you with a variety of legal issues and providing you the personal touch your legal matter deserves. Prior to Joseph Smith PLLC formerly known as The Joseph Firm PLLC, Mrs. Smith worked at a national labor and employment defense firm primarily in labor and employment defense; served as a Student Research Analyst at the Center for Human Rights and Advancement; interned in the Victim's Advocate Unit of the Florida State Attorney's Office; and volunteered as a tax specialist at VITA. Mrs. Smith values service to her community. Currently, she serves as a board member of the Universal Branch of the Boys and Girls Club, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Orange County Bar Association, Federal Bar Association, and volunteer at various impoverished neighborhoods in the Central Florida Community. Ms. Smith is fluent in French Creole. Mrs. Smith is licensed in all Florida state courts, the Middle District of Florida (federal court), and the Southern District of Florida (federal court).
